black walnut is an exquisite and desirable hardwood.It features an impressive variation between it's pale, creamy sapwood to the deep tones of the heartwood within. The heartwood holds an array of warm brown pigments from luxurious caramel through to the darker notes of ambers and cocoa, with the occasional flare of a dark purple or even crimson which catches the eye.

Its heavy and strong, though slightly less dense than oak, and has a truly magnificent grain structure that brings an air of class to any home.
